Project Description:
The project is dedicated to one of the painful pages of the history of Azerbaijan-the topic of deportation of the Azerbaijanis happening in the years of 1948-1953.
As it is known massive deportation of the Azerbaijanis living in Armenia began to be deported and the people were driven away from the places they had settled for hundred years.
The Aim of the Project
The main aim of the project was to produce a documentary film on the topic of deportation of the Azerbaijanis happening in the years of 1948-1953 and present the details of this painful deportation into the attention of the whole community, especially the youth.
Broadly is dealt with the facts of the Azerbaijanis’ deportation from Armenia based on the documents and materials protected in the archives of Baku and Moscow in the documentary film. The witnesses of deportation are interviewed about those hard times and problems accompanying the deportation.
The documentary film has been demonstrated on Public TV several times.
