Project Description:
Today presenting history and culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, propagandizing the achievements of our country in the field of democracy is much more important than before. Therefore, an art exhibition under the name of “One Thousand and One Colours of the Land of Fire” covering the paintings by the young Azerbaijani woman artists was organized in Luxembourg, a member state of the European Union. This exhibition was a step in recognition of Azerbaijan in Europe and the project team also provided the European community with the information about the First European Games held in Baku simultaneously with the exhibition days, the real essence of our most painful problem, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Besides, Luxembourg community closely got acquainted with the creative potential of the Moslem youth living in the young Republic of Azerbaijan and enjoyed the beauty created with the brushes of these young artists.

The Aim of the Project:
The main goal of the project is to present history and culture of Azerbaijan in Luxembourg, a member state of European Union, organize events on the topic of Armenia- Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The project was realized on the eve of June 15, celebrated as National Salvation Day in Azerbaijan. Cultural Association of Azerbaijan in Luxembourg “Karabagh” and Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgium and Luxembourg provided the event with logistical and organizational support.

Within the framework of the project an art exhibition covering the paintings by the young Azerbaijani woman artists was organized and brochures, booklets were distributed in the event to enable the audience have clear impression about the First European Games held in Baku, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, on the whole of the Azerbaijani truth.
